私の友人であり、スイスのオーラルケアの会社paroの代表を務めるPatrickが、新しく販売した超音波ブラシ paro SONIC をプレゼントしてくれました。
My friend, Patrick, who is a representative of the Swiss oral care company paro, presented us with a new ultrasonic brush called Parosonic.
先日、稲葉歯科医院の小西先生が、ドイツケルンで開催されたIDSという大きなデンタルショーに参加した際に、paroのブースに立ち寄り、持って帰ってきてくれました。
When Dr. Konishi, who wrote the training report in Germany the other day, participated in a large dental show called IDS, he stopped by at the paro booth and brought one back.
paro SONIC はスイス大学と一緒に開発し、歯肉のマッサージ効果、歯周病などの改善にとても良い結果を得ているのだけど、使ってみた感想をもらえる？
Although paro SONIC was developed together with the University of Zurich and has a very good result in improving the gingival massage effect and periodontal disease etc.,but “Can you give us an impression of using it?”
もしかしたら、日本でもこの製品を売り出すかもしれないから。
とのことだったので、早速使ってみました。
まずparoの製品は美しい。
Patrick asked me. “Because this product may be marketed in Japan in future.”
So I tried to use it immediately.
First of all, Paro’s products are beautiful.
私が、歯磨き粉や歯ブラシを選ぶときに大切にしているのは、洗面台に置いてあっても美しいこと。
What I cherish when choosing a toothpaste or toothbrush is that it is beautiful even if it is placed in the wash basin.
歯磨き粉で、カラフルに目立つ色があると、ゴチャゴチャして見えるので、シンプルなparoの製品をとても気に入っています。
I like the simple paro product because there are many different colors of toothpaste tubes etc.
そして、美しさと共にクオリティーの高さも素晴らしいのです。
And the beauty and the quality are great!
以前、家族でparoの工場見学をさせていただきました。
I once visited the paro factory with my family.
娘が、歯科医師になりたいと決めたことの一つのきっかけが、paroの工場見学でした。
One of the reasons why my daughter decided to be a dentist was this paro factory tour.
歯ブラシ工場の清潔さにビックリしたようです。
She was very surprised at the cleanliness of the toothbrush factory.
マイクロスコープで丹念にチェックが行われます。

引っ張り試験も行われ、安全性なども考慮されています。

マウスウォッシュや、歯磨き粉まで、口元に優しいグッズが揃っています。

さて、paro SONIC について、使ってみた感想なのですが、超高周波の振動で歯茎を傷つけずに、磨く事ができます。弱い振動から、強めの振動まであります。
その振動は、1分間に40.000回！
通常磨く事が難しい、矯正中の方や、インプラント治療のケアの方にもオススメです。
This is my impression about Parosonic and I can polish without damaging the gums by the vibration of the super high frequency.
You can also choose weak vibrations or strong vibrations.
It is also recommended for those who are in the process of teeth-correction, which makes it difficult to polish, and for those who have to have care after implant treatment.
そして、歯間ブラシがとっても気持ちいい！
少しくすぐったい感じもしますが、確実に歯の汚れを取ってくれます。
私たちが沢山手を動かさなくとも、歯に優しく当てているだけで良いのですからありがたいですね。
上手に歯磨きができない、お子様にも良いと思います。
歯磨きが好きではなかった次女も、paro SONICのおかげで、楽しく歯ブラシをしてくれるようになりました。
You may feel a little ticklish, but you will definitely get your teeth cleaned!
Even if we don’t move a lot, it’s good to just hold it.
I think it is good for children who can not brush their teeth well.
My daughter who didn’t like brushing teeth now enjoys toothbrushing time thanks to paro SONIC.
また、とても便利だったのが、通常海外の電化製品は、コンセントが違う事が多いのですが、USBでつなぐ事が出来るため、お手持ちのiPhoneなどの充電コードなどでつなぐ事ができます。
Also, although it is very convenient, usually overseas electrical appliances often have different voltages and plugs. But Parosonic devices can be charged via USB which makes it very easy for those who have an iPhone or similar.
スイスのparoを訪れたのは、4年前となります。
実は、Patrickの奥さんPetraと私は、高校時代からのお友達。
お家にホームステイをさせてもらったり、当時色々なことを話し合ったお友達です。また、大切な家族に会いに訪れたいなと思います。

I visited paro in Switzerland four years ago. In fact, Patrick’s wife Petra and I have been friends since high school.
I stayed at her home and we talked about various things.
So, I would like to visit Switzerland again to meet such an important family-friends for me.
I hope that paro’s mouth-care products will be available through a Japanese agent soon so that many Japanese people can use them.
